Candidates submit statement of intent with petition for Ward 4 Special Election in Biloxi

City Of Biloxi To Move Forward With New Mgccc Entrance

Six people have submitted their qualifying statement of intent with petition for the office of Ward 4 council member in Biloxi.

A special election will take place to fill the unexpired term of Ward 4 Councilmember Robert Deming III, who resigned.

The following candidates have submitted their Qualifying Statement of Intent with Petition:

  • Lara Bernich Alley
  • Kim Compton-Saucier
  • Jamie Creel
  • Dan Hunter
  • Rodney McGilvary
  • Douglas A. Schmitt

The Biloxi Municipal Election Commission will have a meeting on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 4 p.m. at City Hall to qualify the candidates.

The Biloxi City Council has scheduled a special election for Tuesday, June 18 for Ward 4 residents.
