Camille Memorial located east of the Biloxi Small Craft Harbor
There is a Hurricane Camille Memorial located in Biloxi. It is on the lot of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer’s beach front grounds.
Katrina destroyed the church and damaged the memorial. It has since been repaired and serves as a reminder of the 172 dead or missing on the Mississippi Coast.
For the anniversary, red roses have been placed on top of the memorial.
The City of Biloxi is dedicating their B-TV programming to Hurricane Camille as a way to remind residents of how dangerous storms like this can be.
