Caesars Entertainment Statement

Caesars Entertainment, the parent company of Harrah’s issued the following statement on the passage of house bill 15-23.

“Caesars is disappointed with the new Mississippi law which pits religious rights against equal protection for the LGBT community.

We respect our country’s long history of religious freedom.

However, that freedom shouldn’t be used to legislatively discriminate against LGBT people, who include our employees and customers and, that law will not promote economic growth and tourism in the state.”
