Cable One employees give back

‘Tis the season to give back which is exactly what a few employees from Cable One did this morning.

A group of Cable One employees spent their morning unloading cans to donate to Our Daily Bread in Pascagoula.

Our Daily Bread is a soup kitchen and they serve food daily at their Daily Bread location to as many as 100 people. The soup kitchen is always in need of financial support, volunteers to serve, and food.

Cable One General Manager Charles Oakes tells News 25 Cable One employees have made sure to give back to those less fortunate for a number of years. “Our employees, over the course of the year, have put their money together, donated their resources, their time. We donated over a thousand pounds of food today to Our Daily Bread and also this morning over a thousand dollars’ worth of toys to the Salvation Army. This is our opportunity to say thank you to our community.”
