Cable One Changing Channel Lineup
If you have Cable One you may have noticed the lineup change. This is the first phase in the transition to an all-new, all-digital platform in our area.
The new lineup will group similar type programming together, making it easier to find programming categories. It will also be easier to find high definition channels. In the new lineup, all HD channels will be located in the 1000s. For example, you can now find our standard definition Fox station on channel 25 and HD Fox station on channel 1025. Our standard definition NBC station can now be found on channel 9, the HD station can be found on channel 1009.
General Manager Charlie Oakes said, “It makes it easier for our customers to find the channels such as your channel itself. We’re able to move it so the standard definition channel matches up with a high definition channel. Like I said, it will be uniform across the Gulf Coast.”
Once again, you can find WXXV NBC on channel 9 and WXXV FOX on channel 25. All changes will be complete by October 9th.
