Bystander shot Sunday night during fight at Lakeshore bar

Two people have been arrested in connection with a shooting at a Hancock County bar on Sunday night.

Hancock County deputies were called to Harold & Lillians Bar on Forest Avenue in Lakeshore about 10:14 p.m. about a shooting.

A woman was suffering from a single gunshot wound and was taken to a Louisiana hospital for treatment.

The sheriff’s office said it was determined in an investigation that 45-year-old Deon Morgan of Roxie and 46-year-old Katrina Nordin of Bay St. Louis were involved in an altercation and a woman who was not involved was shot.

Morgan and Nordin were charged with disorderly conduct — interfering with business customers, invitees. They were taken to the Hancock County jail.

The investigation is ongoing.
