BWC Terminals breaks ground on new facility in Pascagoula
PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WXXV)- Jackson County leaders and partners broke ground Tuesday on BWC Terminals’ new facility in Pascagoula.
The Jackson County Economic Development Foundation joined county officials, port leaders, and Chevron representatives to celebrate the start of the project.
The facility, now under construction, marks a major step forward in expanding industry and jobs in Jackson County.
Leaders say the effort shows how local partners are working to grow business and support the community.
The new terminal is expected to strengthen the local economy and support future development along the Coast.
The project will help bring more opportunities to Pascagoula in the years ahead.
