Burn ban in effect in Pearl River County

Pearl River County has implemented a burn ban.

This burn ban is effective until further notice and comes just days after Hancock County implemented its own ban days ago in response to woods fires over the weekend.

This ban means no outdoor burning of any kind will be allowed.

Violating the ban may result in fines of up to $500.
