Budweiser Clydesdale parade reaches the Gulf Coast

The world-famous Budweiser Clydesdale horses returned to the Mississippi Coast to join in on some coastal parades.

Today, the horses traveled down to Bay St. Louis where eight of them were hooked up to the classic Budweiser wagon and rolled down the municipal harbor to the train depot.

This parade was only one of several locations the horses are making an appearance in.

The Clydesdales will also join in on the Ocean Springs parade tomorrow at 6 and at the Keesler Air Force Base on Saturday and Sunday from 10 to noon. Mitchell Distributing Communications Manager Anna Grace Tanner said, “It’s been a couple years since they were here last and so it’s always an exciting time when they come. It brings out the whole community and it’s really just a special time for everybody, and they also have a dalmatian, kind of everybody’s favorite, so we got Lilly here with us this week and yeah, it’s really exciting.”

A portion of all Budweiser and Bud Light sold during the parade today will go to the Bay St. Police Department in honor of the two fallen officers Sgt. Steven Robin and Officer Brandon Estorfee.
