Bridge closure on South Railroad Avenue in Hancock County
Hancock County has announced an upcoming road closure in Waveland.
The Board of Supervisors are closing the westward bridge on South Railroad Avenue adjacent to the Jackson Marsh as they prepare to start a project at the end of the month.
Contractors plan to close the bridge for about four to five months with traffic detouring via Waveland Avenue, South Beach Boulevard, and Clermont Boulevard.
The closure that starts on July 31st is to repair the structure of the bridge.
