Brick Fest Live comes to the Coast

Kids of all ages and adults packed into the Mississippi Gulf Coast Convention Center for a date with Legos and blocks.

Kids and their parents were able to enjoy a host of hands-on activities at the Brick Live Fest Convention from derby racing to Lego block architecture.

Fictional and non-fictional life-sized Lego sculptures were through the center for kids to enjoy as well.

The brightest minds were put to the test in various tasks around the convention center, children and families say the event was excellent for their children to unlock their creativity in creating various objects. Devon Jack said, “I didn’t even know how they came up to build that or the giant sculpture. They built like a castle. I just couldn’t. I wouldn’t even know where to start myself and to see the kids getting involved in something like this right now. It’s amazing to see.”

Christian Middleton said, “(What do you want to be when you grow up?) A builder.”

Micah Green said, “I just really enjoy to build with Lego and just have fun.”

“Probably seeing all the things that they made it all, probably like seeing all the statues and all that of the Lego set.”
