Brewing for a cause at Chandeleur Island Brewing Company
The Chandeleur Island Brewing Company looks to do their part in helping those who suffered from the Camp fires in California.
The company along with other breweries will make the ‘Resilience Butte County IPA,’ a beer created by the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company. This recipe will be sent to different companies to go on tap with all proceeds going towards the Camp Fire Relief Fund.
Chandeleur Brewmaster David Reese tells News 25 he didn’t hesitate to help as Sierra Nevada has helped this local brewery in many ways. “It’s an honor for us to be able to brew this beer and help them out. Personally, they are one of our heroes. I grew up on Sierra Nevada beer. They are one of the reasons I’m in the business today. It’s an absolute honor for me to be able to brew their recipe and help out their region.”
The Resilience Butte County IPA will hit the taprooms starting next week.
