A wet stretch settles in through the weekend with multiple rounds of rain and a few thunderstorms beginning on Thursday.
Showers increase late tonight, becoming widespread Thursday with storms possible and highs in the mid to upper 50s. Rain continues Thursday night and remains likely Friday, with thunderstorms and steady temperatures. More showers linger into Saturday, though coverage gradually decreases into Sunday.
Overall rainfall totals from tonight through Saturday are expected to range from about 2 to 3 inches, with locally higher amounts in heavy thunderstorms.
By Sunday, only a slight chance of morning rain remains before skies turn partly sunny and highs reach the upper 60s. Cooler, drier weather arrives early next week with sunny skies Monday through Wednesday, morning frost possible Monday and Tuesday, and highs ranging from the upper 50s to mid-60s.
