BREAKING: Truck crashed into main power line in Pass Christian; Possible power outage for many

Pass Christian Police Chief Tim Hendricks tells News 25, a truck carrying a load crashed into a power pole this morning. The accident happened to a Mississippi Power main transmission line at 300 Henderson Avenue in Pass Christian.

The truck got tangled in the power line pulling the pole on top of the truck. The driver is currently stuck inside.

When they do turn off the power, many Pass Christian residents in the area could be affected. The outage could last for possibly an hour.

Crews are on the way to turn off the power so they can remove the driver and avoid electrocution.
