Robbery Suspect Apprehended

A robbery in Gulfport leads to a quick arrest.
Police say just before 4 this afternoon, a black male entered a hair salon in the 14,000 block of Dedeaux Road, telling everyone to get on the ground. He then took their belongings and money before fleeing.
Gulfport police were there in less than five minutes. The suspect was arrested at 4 p.m. on Cherry Road, near the scene of the crime, less than 10 minutes after the robbery took place.
Details are still limited, but leaders with Gulfport Police Department tell News 25 it looks like this robbery was planned.
