Bras across the River

The 8th annual Bras across the River fun run is happening this Saturday in Moss Point.

Singing River Federal Credit Union puts on this event to support breast cancer research in hopes of one day finding a cure. Locals donate decorated bras so they can be strung across the Highway 613 Bridge.

Last year, the run raised $13,000 and they hope for that number to increase this year.

They have survivor sashes to drape across those that fought and won and those that are still fighting.

The fun run starts at 9 a.m. on Saturday. You can still register by going online to SRFCU.org or you can register the day of the event starting at 8 a.m. for $15 which comes with a free t-shirt.
