The Boys and Girls Club Day for Kids

It was a perfect day for kids to get out and play in Biloxi.
The Boys and Girls Club hosted a Day for Kids on Harrah’s Great Lawn Saturday. The day included several outdoor games and activities and was appreciated by parent’s who don’t normally get to see their children play at the Boys and Girls Club.
The free event gave everyone a chance to be a kid for the day. Boys and Girls Club Resource Development and Marketing Director Tori Bishop said, “It’s an advocacy day, youth advocacy day. One day can change a child’s life so we are out here with field day activities to give adults and children the chance to interact together. So we have our five clubs out here that we bused kids in and then the public is here.”
A Day for Kids is an event that was not just happening in Mississippi, but across the nation.
