Boys and Girls Club Career and Education Fair

Dozens of local businesses, nonprofits, and other organizations had the chance to meet with prospective employees, students, and volunteers.

At today’s annual Career and Education Fair at the Boys and Girls Club Gulf Coast IP Center in D’Iberville, university representatives from Southern Miss were among those on hand to talk with local students and members of the Boys and Girls Clubs across the Coast, along with medical groups, nonprofits, and other South Mississippi employers, including on-air talent and production crew members from News 25.

Sherrell Dedeaux with the Boys and Girls Club of the Gulf Coast said, “Every site along the Gulf Coast has one of our five core areas which is character and leadership, health and life skills, arts, sports and recreation, education and career. Tonight we’re celebrating education and career at the IP site for the Boys and Girls Club Week.”

Domino’s provided pizza for the students and Boys and Girls Club members who attended the event.
