Bond set for mom charged in Jackson County hot car death

Bond has been set for a Jackson County woman accused of leaving her infant son in a hot car for several hours.

Twenty-eight year-old Elizabeth Barhonovich is booked in the Jackson County Jail on a count of second degree murder under a $50,000 bond.

Sheriff Mike Ezell says the infant, Kash Barhonovich, died after being left in his mother’s vehicle for an unknown length of time while parked in the heat at her home on Arthur Avenue.
