Bond denied for estranged wife accused of fatally shooting husband in Pearl River County

Tanya Saucier, the woman accused of shooting her estranged husband outside the Pearl River County Courthouse on Tuesday, has been denied bond.

The 49-year-old Saucier woman has been in the Pearl River County Jail since the shooting that happened about 12:15 p.m. after a divorce hearing in court.

Thursday’s appearance in justice court was her first and Judge Ben Breland denied the bond.

Saucier’s estranged husband, James Saucier, died at the scene.
