During the lockdown, students were moved to the gym while the Biloxi K9 unit swept the school. Around 12:20 this afternoon, the all clear was given after it was determined that the threat was not viable.
Chief of Police Billy Seal tells News 25 safety of Long Beach schools is a priority. “We’re always concerned. I have kids in the schools. I have a daughter in this school. We’re definitely concerned about the safety of the kids and the staff in this school, all the schools in Long Beach.”
