Bomb Squad Called to Gulfport

A bomb squad is en route to the area of 15th Street and 42nd Street. According to the police, a man was walking through the parking lot carrying what appeared to be a mortar shell.
Police were not able to determine if it was live or not. They taped off the area while waiting for the Biloxi Bomb Squad. The individual who had the shell found it on 14th Street.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area of 15th Street and 42nd Street.
