Bollinger Mississippi Shipyard receives Coast Guard contract

PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WXXV)-Bollinger Mississippi Shipbuilding in Pascagoula received a multi-million-dollar national security contract this week.

The investment is expected to strengthen national security presence in the Arctic and reinforce Mississippi’s role in shipbuilding.

Officials say the Coast Guard requires a new fleet to protect interests in the Arctic.
