Boil water notice issued for the area of Touriel Road in Gulpfort

(Gulfport, Mississippi) – The City of Gulfport has issued a “Boil Water Notice” due to a water main repair that is impacting citizens and businesses in the vicinity of Touriel Road, extending from Highway 49 eastward to its endpoint.

This encompasses Lyman Community Center, Tractor Supply, and Hidden Acres Mobile Home Park.

Citizens who acquire their drinking water from this area are asked to boil water vigorously for one minute and let it cool before consuming.

The Gulfport Public Works Department will alert residents when the water meets the standards of the Safe Drinking Water Law.
