Body of missing Pass Christian woman found

Harrison County, Miss. (WXXV)- The body of Joyce Gomez, who was reported missing in Harrison County, has been found. 

On Sunday April 27, the Pass Christian Police Department requested the public’s assistance with locating missing 38-year-old Gomez. 

According to the Pass Christian Police Department, Gomez was located deceased around 11:25 on Sunday morning near W. Wittman Road by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office.

Gomez was reported missing after last being seen on Friday in Bay St. Louis. Investigators believed it was possible that foul play was involved. This led investigators to the location of Gomez’s body.

This is an active investigation and arrests are forthcoming.
