Body of missing boater recovered near Petit Bois Island
The body of a missing boater was located and recovered near Petit Bois Island just before noon Wednesday.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, 54-year-old Travis White of Georgia was reported missing on Monday after he did not return from a fishing trip off the coast of Mobile County.
His boat was found on Tuesday, north of Dauphin Island near Mobile Bay.
Several agencies immediately launched a search and rescue mission.
ALEA Marine Patrol Troops continue to investigate.
