BODY OF MISSING FISHERMAN FOUND NEAR PASS CHRISTIAN HARBOR

This morning search crews located the body of 60 year old Anthony Palode , the fishermen who fell into the Pass Christian Harbor early Tuesday morning.

Witnesses told police they saw Palode struggle while he was fishing on the pier Tuesday around 2:30 A.M. and fall into the water.

A search for Palode lasted all day Tuesday and resumed this morning around sunrise. Search crews found his body around 9:30 near the place where he fell in.

Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove tells News 25 all indications are that Palode died of accidental drowning.  However, a toxicology report will still be conducted.
