Body Identified as Jessie Bardwell

A local family’s worst fears have been confirmed. A body found in Farmersville, Texas has been identified to be that of Pascagoula native Jessie Bardwell. Authorities discovered the body in a wooded area last week.
Today, the Collin County medical examiner confirmed that the body is that of Bardwell, who went missing at the end of April. Bardwell’s parents reported her missing around Mother’s Day weekend.
Not long after, police in Richardsville, Texas arrested Bardwell’s live-in boyfriend, Jason Lowe. He is now being held at the Collin County Detention Center in Texas, facing a murder charge in Bardwell’s death.
Authorities say the investigation is still ongoing.
