Body found on the side of the road in Stone County

The Stone County Sheriff’s Department is looking for leads after a man was found dead on the side of Thelma Andrews Road a short distance from New Hope Road in Stone County on Saturday morning.

The sheriff’s department identified the victim as Andrew Lewis. His cause of death is unknown at this time and his body has since been sent to the crime lab for an autopsy.
