Body found on Delta State University campus

CLEVELAND, Miss. (WXXV)-Classes have been canceled Monday at one northern Mississippi university after a body was found on campus.

Details are very limited, but Delta State officials say university police and local authorities were immediately notified and that an investigation is now underway.

Delta State is located in Cleveland, Mississippi, a few hours south of Memphis.

Support services for Delta State students and staff are now available in the wake of the death as well.
