Body found at Lake Norris in Columbus

Police in Columbus have recovered the body of a man near a local lake.

According to our sister station WCBI, the body is presumed to be Robert Hargrove, a man missing since September 29 after a car accident.

Columbus Police say they received a tip about the the body’s whereabouts from a maintenance worker.

First responders found the body partially in the water in Lake Norris.

The body has been sent to Jackson for an autopsy and identification.
