Body found in Alabama believed to be of missing three-year-old Kamille McKinney
Police in Birmingham believe they’ve found the body of Kamille McKinney, the missing three-year-old girl who was abducted from a birthday party.
Birmingham Police held a press conference this evening, more than a week after the child was abducted.
Police Chief Patrick Smith says the department found remains of a three-year-old child inside of a dumpster in a landfill.
Police believe the remains they found are that of Kamille McKinney. Police released surveillance video of the child being lured away by a man in the days of following the abduction.
Chief Smith says finding the remains were the last missing piece of the puzzle needed to charge 39-year-old Patrick Stallworth and 29-year-old Derick Brown with capital murder and kidnapping in Kamille’s death.
