Blue Ribbon Committee set to meet and exam child welfare concerns

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- On Friday, the Harrison County Board of Supervisors will meet with a Blue Ribbon Committee to examine Child Protection Services procedures and child welfare concerns.

Members of the Mississippi Legislature will be there to listen and possibly act on the issues.

Supervisor Rebecca Powers has been spearheading the efforts and she joins us to talk about the concerns.
