Blue Bell introduces two new ice cream flavors

July is National Ice Cream Month so the team at Blue Bell Creameries has decided to introduce two flavors to the world.

The newest of the two flavors is Oatmeal Cream Pie. This tasty treat takes on all the best parts of an oatmeal cream pie and puts it into ice cream with hints of brown sugar, bits of actual oatmeal cookies, and vanilla icing swirl that ties it all together.

The other flavor released late last month is strawberry lemonade. This treat combines delicious strawberry ice cream swirled with a lemonade sherbet sprinkled with lemon flavored flakes. Blue Bell Creameries Territory Manager Chris Mitchell said, “We’re really looking forward to being in the stores. It’s a great flavor, both of them, and we’re excited from the customer feedback that we’ve already heard. People have been very receptive. They really seem to enjoy these new flavors.”

Blue Bell Creameries Territory Manager Tony Page said, “The more you buy this flavor, hopefully they come back next year, so get out there, purchase some Blue Bell Ice cream and hopefully these flavors will be back next year.”

Both flavors are sold in half gallon and pint sizes and are in grocery stores now for a limited time.
