Blood drives this weekend

Availability of type-o blood is at an all-time low. Every three seconds someone needs blood.

The Blood Center needs your help as they extend their hours and add more blood drives going into the Easter weekend. The Blood Center needs 300 to 350 pints of blood every day.

Many blood drives were cancelled because of Thursday’s weather and they say there is nothing available throughout the country.

If you’d like to give back and help save a life here’s a list of blood drives you can donate to this weekend:

Today until 3 p.m. at the Gautier Donor Center and the Edgewater Mall in Biloxi until 5:30 p.m.

Saturday at the Edgewater Mall from 11:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and the Gautier Donor Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
