Blessing of the Slab at TNT Ranch and Recovery Home

A recovery home in Gulfport that has helped hundreds through addiction is finally beginning the process of building their brand new facility.
About a year ago, News 25 brought you the story of TNT Ranch and Recovery Home struggling to raise money after the county deemed their current facilities not up to code. Now, with the help of Feed My Sheep, multiple organizations, fundraisers and people pitching in, they’ve raised $88,000 to build the new 5,000 square foot facility.
Today, they held a Blessing of the Slab ceremony to kick off the new construction. Director Tony Stapleton said, “This has been in the making for about a year and a half now. We have been working on this and we have overcome a lot of obstacles but God has been so good to us to allow us to get to this point to build this new home and we’re so happy about it. It’s been so many people involved in this project and we just want to be really grateful and say thanks to everybody. The community has been very good to us.”
The Seabee Base has offered to build the new facility free of charge. If you’d like to pitch in and help out, you can call 228-669-7859.
