Black Spring Break returns to the Coast in April
Biloxi is getting ready for Black Spring Break coming up next month.
Biloxi is expecting to have more visitors back for the event now that COVID outbreaks have declined.
Black Spring Break will run Thursday, April 13th through Sunday, April 16th.
There are scheduled events, concerts, and contests already lined up for the weekend that has traditionally drawn thousands to the Biloxi beaches.
The Biloxi Police Department is working on a plan to make sure traffic keeps flowing since Highway 90 is expected to be jammed with beachgoers in addition to the normal weekend traffic. City of Biloxi Public Affairs Manager Cecilia Dobbs said, “Being on the Coast, that is a great attractor for people. We’re seeing that more and more each year with this event. It’s a safe, friendly, beautiful city that we invite anybody and everybody to come to.”
