BJ Sellers sworn in as Gulfport Ward 5 Councilman
The newest member of the Gulfport City Council was officially sworn in at Tuesday afternoon’s council meeting.
BJ Sellers will serve the remainder of the current council term which ends in July.
Sellers won the special election last month, defeating two other candidates after Myles Sharp resigned from the council in late December.
He’ll appear on the April 1st Republican primary ballot for this seat as he seeks to retain the seat for a full, four-year term.
