Megan was born and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at the University of Mississippi in 2022 (Hotty Toddy!) While in College, she worked for the student-led newspaper The Daily Mississippian as an Arts and Culture Writer.
Megan spent two years as a Digital Content Producer in Memphis, Tennessee where she led digital coverage of the high-profile, nationally recognized Tyre Nichols federal and state trials for three former Memphis police officers accused in Nichols’ January 2023 death.
When Megan is not at work, she enjoys reading, playing golf and pickleball, and hanging out with friends and family.
