Everett “EJ” Ganier Jr. was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and after Hurricane Katrina he grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He is a graduate of Hancock High School and a Alumni of Belhaven University with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations with sports emphasis. During his time in high school and college he played football and ran track. Before entering the newsroom, he worked as a Radio Announcer for 90.7FM WVAS on Alabama State University’s campus. In his free time, Everett enjoys cheering on his New Orleans Saints and Pelicans. Everett also, expects to receive his Master’s degree in Sports Administration from Belhaven in the fall of 2024.
