Biloxi Visitors Center celebrating Tourism Week
Biloxi Visitors Center is celebrating Tourism Week by showcasing tourist attractions along the Coast.
Tourism Week allows communities to celebrate what travel means to American jobs, economic growth, and personal well-being.
Each day, different businesses have set up information booths inside the center to showcase the amenities offered throughout the city.
Tourism Week in Biloxi leads up to the Biloxi Lighthouse Arts and Crafts Festival which will be held Saturday and the Gulf Coast Historical and Cultural Exposition which will take place Friday and Saturday. Both events will run 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Biloxi Historical Administrator Bill Raymond said, “As the visitor center, we really want to be able to highlight the different attractions and things that are going on along the Coast. So, every day we have invited different attractions and places that tourists would like to visit to come to the visitor center and show what they have.”
In partnership with Biloxi Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, hot dogs will be served along with popcorn and lemonade.
