Biloxi Shuckers vs. Mobile Baybears
Between fireworks, hotdogs, and the occasional adult beverage, the Fourth of July is always a special time at MGM Park, even more so when there’s free Biloxi Shuckers baseball on tap.

Shuckers win 3-2 in the first installment. Shuckers go on to win game two as well with a big time 2-0 shutout.
Here’s why the Fourth of July is always well spent at MGM Park for these patriotic baseball fans.
Biloxi Shuckers fan Robert Young said, “It’s a lovely experience, I love this park. I love the city, I love the environment, I love the vibe and we come here every Fourth of July.”
Biloxi Shuckers fan Anthony Barclay said, “Family down this way, we used to live down here as well. So coming down here for a little bit of baseball on a gorgeous night, fireworks, baseball and Fourth of July. Can’t beat it.”
Biloxi Shuckers fan Caden Vallee said, “It’s really cool. They’re honoring our country and the soldiers, basically.”
Biloxi Shuckers fan Kirk Wesley Oswald said, “It shows me the freedom that we have. A lot of people take that for granted. There’s a lot of discontent and discord in our nation right now, and we forget that we’re all Americans. We all belong together, and God is good to us. He’s blessed our nation a lot.”
Next up, the Shuckers head to the Metro for a four game series versus the Mississippi Braves. First pitch for game one is set for 7 p.m. tomorrow from Trustmark Park in Pearl.
