Biloxi Shuckers vs. Mississippi Braves
Shuckers 1st Baseman and Ole Miss alum Thomas Dillard said, “I’m just super proud of them and I trained with them a little bit this off-season and their adversity that they went through this year was awesome so I couldn’t be more proud of them bringing back a national championship to Oxford, so Hotty Toddy!”
A fifth-round pick of the Milwaukee Brewers back in 2019, Dillard knows a thing or two about a good hot streak. His Rebels won their first seven games of the NCAA Tournament on their way to winning their first College World Series crown in program history.
His Shuckers also winning their first seven games of the 2022 campaign, now looking to start a new streak to lead off the second half of the season.
Biloxi hosting the Mississippi Braves for game two of their six game series. Shuckers won game one 3-2.
