Biloxi Shuckers Third Annual Job Fair

How would you like for another day at the office to be spent at a baseball stadium? That dream could be a reality as the Biloxi Shuckers will hold a job fair tomorrow at MGM Park.
From 4:30 until 7:30, the Shuckers will host their third annual job fair for part-time seasonal positions for the 2017 season.
Some of the spots available include bat boy or girl, on-field emcee, ticket seller and usher. Interviews will be conducted on a first come, first serve basis.
One current Shuckers employee hired through a similar job fair does have some advice for anyone coming out. Shuckers Community Relations and Promotions Coordinator Jenifer Truong said, “It was really exciting. I didn’t know what to expect. Come with a resume, be professional. I came in and the building was just packed. It was full of excitement, full of buzz. My biggest tip is to come in with a smile. It kind of eases your jitters. Be yourself. Think about customer service, think about what you want to experience when you come to a ball park, that’s what we’re looking for.”
If you make it to the fair by 7:30 you are guaranteed an interview. And for all the baseball fans, first pitch for Shuckers baseball at MGM Park will be April 12th.
