Biloxi Shuckers release 2026 Roster and introduce Biloxi Mudbug alternate identity!

The grass has been cut and the dirt has been watered which means we’re getting closer to closer to Minor League Baseball season on the Mississippi Gulf Coast! It was an action-packed day at Keesler Federal Park as the Biloxi Shuckers announce their 2026 roster. Not only were media able to get to know the old and new faces, but season tickets holders were able to meet the players, get autographs and even watch the first officially practice of the season. Now that they’ve got their Shuckers gear and the stadium lights have been turned on, Manager Mike Guerrero and two of his players spoke on their excitement for opening day on Friday. The Biloxi Shuckers couldn’t wait until opening day for a big announcement. During their practice, the organization revealed their new alternate identity for 2026, introducing the Biloxi Mudbugs! You can’t get much more coast than that! The Shucker’s season will officially kick off Friday night in Alabama with the Trash Pandas and then baseball is back in Biloxi on Tuesday, April 7th for a homestand against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos.
