Biloxi Shuckers Homestand

The Biloxi Shuckers are back in action at MGM Park against the other Mississippi pro baseball team, the Braves. The Shuckers will continue their eight game homestand until Saturday.
Making his debut on the mound for the Milwaukee Brewers AA affiliate was former MSU Bulldog Brandon Woodruff.
After a two game win on the road, the Shuckers are looking to continue their winning streak. Shuckers outfielder Kyle Wren said, “We’ve been drawing really big crowds. Having the home crowd on your side is always a big advantage. I think we’re just playing well. We’re starting to get back in that groove that we had in the beginning of the year. We’re just clicking on all cylinders. Our bull pen is doing well. Our starting pitching is doing well. We’re just getting on base and scoring and really that’s all you can do.”
The Shuckers won tonight against the Mississippi Braves 7-1, bringing their win streak to three games.
