Biloxi Shuckers are back at MGM Park tonight

The Biloxi Shuckers host their home opener tonight at MGM Park. First pitch is set for 6:35, marking the team’s seventh season on the Gulf Coast.

News 25 caught up with the team this morning and they’re hoping for a successful season and packed stands. There are already a lot of fun events planned.

Tomorrow will make your tail wag. They’re bringing back Bark in the Park so you can take your furry friend with you to the ball game.

It’s also Military Wednesday with discounts for active and retired military.

On Thursday, it’s Double Play Thursday meaning plenty of food and drink specials.

Those are just a few of the promotions the Biloxi Shuckers have scheduled for the season. Shuckers Media Relations Manager and Broadcaster Garrett Greene said, “Fireworks Friday, so we have our first firework show of the year coming Friday night. Just a lot of fun and merriment. Promotions are going to be back to during the game more than they were last season. So, there’s something for everybody out here at the ball park.”

You can buy tickets for as low as $8. This year, the games will be cashless meaning you need a credit card to purchase any food or drink at the ball park.
