Biloxi Shuckers announce new “Biloxi King cakes” alternate identity
“I am very proud and very excited to announce that for four games during the 2024 home slate the Biloxi Shuckers will be known as the Biloxi King Cakes.” said Shuckers media relations manager Javik Blake.
Season ticket holders and fans alike came together at the Shucker’s ball park Wednesday evening for a Mardi Gras themed event followed by a special announcement.
The announcement is to honor the history of Mardi Gras in the state of Mississippi, and more specifically, in Biloxi.
This is a rebrand that will happen four times throughout the season.

- Sat., June 15th
- Sun., June 30th
- Tues., August 13th
The rebrand will come with a new logo, completely redesigned stadium branding, and even new jerseys.
Blake spoke further on the significance of this announcement by saying, “When you come to the ballpark on those nights it will still be the same great Shuckers atmosphere that you would find for any game if you have been with us throughout our ninth season here on the coast. We are going to spice it up a little bit. We are going to make it fun.”
