Biloxi Shooting Leaves One Person Dead
Shooting in Biloxi leaves one person dead, one other injured.
Around 6:43 pm on Thursday, the Biloxi Communications Center received an emergency call regarding an individual with a gun near the 2000 block of Fernwood Road. While Biloxi Patrol Officers were responding to the scene, the Communications Center received a report of a shots fired in the area, followed by a report of a person being shot.
Officers contacted two males on scene suffering from gunshot wounds. Pafford Emergency arrived on scene and transported one individual to an area hospital for treatment following an injury. The other individual involved has since been pronounced dead.
Investigators with Biloxi Police responded to the scene, however, details are limited as the investigation is ongoing.
