Biloxi Seafood Festival warns of potential scam

The Biloxi Seafood Festival is warning vendors about a potential scam.

The Biloxi chamber saying unauthorized individuals are impersonating the chamber and requesting vendor fees.

The chamber warned that if anyone filled out a Google Doc application and was asked to pay between $50 and $100 via PayPal or any other online platform, the requests are not associated with the seafood festival.

The Seafood Festival does not accept payment through online sources for registrations.

Vendors who applied should have received a confirmation or rejection email from the director of the Biloxi Chamber of Commerce.
